Who Are We?
Cornerstone Church is a multigenerational, spirit-filled, Bible-based community of believers, rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the foundations laid by the early church apostles. We are passionate about living out the Gospel in Word and power, through prayer, worship, and the breaking of bread with one another.
What We Believe
- One God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- The Salvation through Jesus Christ, by grace through faith.
- The authority of the Bible as God’s inspired Word.
- The baptism of water and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
- The five-fold ministry for equipping the saints and building up the body of Christ.
- Living as ambassadors of the Kingdom, making disciples, healing the sick, and delivering the oppressed.
- The return of Jesus Christ and the fullness of His Kingdom on earth.
Our Mission
We exist to glorify God and advance His Kingdom by:
- Making Jesus known to lost souls.
- Preaching and teaching the mysteries of the Kingdom with clarity and power.
- Empowering believers to walk in their divine calling, equipped by the Holy Spirit.
- Building a strong local and global community rooted in prayer, love, and truth.
- Raising up generations of disciples who will transform families, communities, and nations.
The Leadership
Pastor Patience Mbakadi
Pastor Patience is a dedicated preacher and teacher, committing his life to unveiling the power and significance of God’s Word to God’s people, in order that they might have hope in a world where people are walking by sight, rather than faith. Besides his professional career as a psychotherapist and senior therapist in mental health with the NHS, Pastor Patience was trained at Spurgeon’s College, London, from 2009 - 2012. Since becoming a born-again Christian in 1990, he has dedicated his life to preaching, teaching, discipling and outreach. It is his passion to see the Word of God become flesh in people’s lives and for them to find their fullness in Christ.
